Dave Bartholomew’s “How Could You” has been stuck in my head for days. It’s one of my favorite tunes by him. If you don’t know the work of Mr. Bartholomew I highly suggest you get acquainted. He was key in the transition from Big Band Swing to Rhythm and Blues/Rock ‘n’ Roll. He also wrote and produced some of the biggest songs of the 50s including I’m Walking and Blue Monday. Enjoy.
